From a single mobile home park to a thriving family business, our journey has been guided by integrity, quality, and a commitment to creating places people are proud to call home.
1991
The Beginning
Ken Hauck seized an opportunity to purchase Moore's Park, an old mobile home park in Dixon, IL. With guidance from mentor Diether Humbert, Ken began transforming the 77-home property into a manufactured home community where residents could take pride in their homes. The community was renamed Rock River Estates.
1994
Rapid Growth
Rock River Estates flourished, expanding to over 100 homes with nearly all sites filled. Recognizing the strong demand, Ken became a manufactured home dealer, remarkably selling 10 homes in his first month—all within the community. Development continued at a rapid pace as new home sites were quickly occupied.
1996
Hauck Homes Founded
To meet growing demand beyond the community, Ken established Hauck Homes, Inc. as a full-service dealership. The company began selling manufactured homes to the public, placing them on private lots and in various communities. Strong sales created opportunities for further expansion.
1996+
Multi-Property Expansion
Following continued success, Ken acquired a second manufactured home community, marking the beginning of Hauck Homes' transformation into a multi-property operating company. This strategic expansion laid the foundation for the diverse portfolio of communities that exists today.
2009
A Family Business
Ken married Katie Hauck, and together they continue to grow and nurture the business. With eleven children, Ken and Katie look forward to the day when they can pass on their legacy of quality, integrity, and community-building to the next generation.
